Your linen dishcloths should be machine-washed separately at 30 degrees for the first few washes.  This will help to avoid shrinkage.  Later, we recommend washing at 40 degrees with the occasional wash at 60 degrees to remove stains & bacteria.  As linen is very absorbent, always select the highest water level in your machine.  We recommend washing either in a machine or by hand with Greenscents organic laundry liquid.  Adding Greenscents Hygge essential oil blend to your wash will help to remove bacteria & viruses.

Air dry your dishcloths where possible or dry them on a heated drying rack.  Avoid using a tumble dryer.  We recommend steam-ironing your dishcloths while still damp to give the best finish and remove any remaining bacteria.

Your linen dishcloths should last for many years but when they need to be replaced your cloths can be composted. Cut up the cloth into small pieces and add to your composting bin. The linen should decompose in as little as two weeks.

Your linen tea towels will be protected with tissue paper made from 100% post consumer recycled waste.  Our tissue paper is recyclable, biodegradable & compostable.

High quality, thick linen

These organic linen dishcloths are lovely. They are high quality and much thicker and softer than I had anticipated. I bought two sets in the blue as I thought it would fade gracefully. Cannot comment about how they are after laundering as I haven't used them yet. But they are very soft and will doubtless get softer after washing.
