Your linen tea towels should be machine-washed separately at 30 degrees for the first few washes.  This will help to avoid shrinkage.  Later, we recommend washing at 40 degrees with the occasional wash at 60 degrees to remove stains.  As linen is very absorbent, always select the highest water level in your machine.  We recommend washing either in a machine or by hand with Greenscents laundry liquid.  Adding Greenscents Hygge essential oil blend to your wash will help to remove bacteria & viruses.

Air dry your tea towels where possible or on a heated drying rack.  Avoid using a tumble dryer.  We recommend steam-ironing your tea towels while still damp to give the best finish.

Your linen tea towels should last for many years but when they need to be replaced your tea towels can be composted. Cut up the tea towel into small pieces and add to your composting bin. The linen should decompose in as little as two weeks.

Your linen tea towels will be protected with tissue paper made from 100% post consumer recycled waste.  Our tissue paper is recyclable, biodegradable & compostable.
